Wasteland 2 is a sequel to the RPG game originally released in 1988, called the “mother of post-apocalyptic RPGs.” InXile Entertainment developed the game after successfully gathering the money needed through Kickstarter. Brian Fargo, the creator of the original game and The Bard’s Tale, was put in charge of the development process.
Developed 25 years later, the sequel takes place fifteen years after the events of its predecessor. Yet again the player assumes the role of a member of Desert Rangers who are the only surviving representatives of the U.S. Army after the nuclear war drove the mankind to the verge of extinction. The developers put a special emphasis on character development system that is entirely player-dependent and emphasizing the consequences of the player’s choices made during the journey through the post-apocalyptic wasteland. Missions can be perform in various ways depending on the skills the player develops. Moreover, the game not only allows to personalize the characters, but also weapons, or even the interface.

This is not working and crashes on the first launch!

the game crashes after opening it immediately and gives that error “the crash report folder named 2014-10-01_043742 next to game executable.”
it would be great if you’d send it to the developer of the game.
To fix the BlackBox repack crashing just copy these files into the Dir… I compared the RG mechanics release and the blackbox release and found a few files were missing…

game crash after instalation. i use Win 7 Professional. run as administrator don’t help. any idea?
Game crashes on startup. Installed .net 4.5.2 and updated Microsoft C++ redistribute. Wiped the registry entries for the game. I am using on Windows 8.1 X64 with 24GB ram, Dual Nvidia 550 SLI Cards i5 2700k. Not an issue with the hardware. Can send you dump files if you desire. Thank you.
